Loving Yourself

Proverbs 19:8 Whoever gets sense loves his own soul; he who keeps understanding will discover good. 1: READ YOUR BIBLE: Compare the way God loves you to the way you love yourself.

Song of Solomon 4:7 You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you. 2: SPEAK LIFE: What you speak into existence, becomes reality. Direct this scripture to yourself regularly.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

3: LEARN WHO YOU ARE: Use these scriptures to analyze your character to find out what needs to go and what needs to be applied or added to your makeup.

Psalm 139:13-15 ESV For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.

4: MEMORIZE THIS VERSE, VERBATIM. Understanding how important you are to God, how intricate your frame is, proves how invaluable your are to the Father and should be to yourself!

Ephesians 5:29 ESV For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church,

5: CHERISE YOUR BODY. Love the skin you are in, for the Holy Trinity resides within you. This will bring a healthy mindset between you and your body, challenging you to strive for healthiness, mind, body and soul.

1 Timothy 4:12 ESV Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

6: GIVE NO PERSON POWER OVER YOU. Do not beat yourself up, while growing, reliving mistakes or regretting the past. You are an evolution of Christ, dying daily to obtain maturity. No one is perfect!

1 John 3:1 ESV See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

7: ACCEPT THAT YOU ARE ROYAL: You are a child of God, The King of Glory in all His majesty. Your life will always look different than the worldly norm. Accept that you are not the same and live like it!

Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

8: REBUKE FEAR DAILY: Satan is waiting at the foot of your bed every morning, greet him with a powerful scripture to combat that fear and stand firm in that Word!

(Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.)

1 Peter 4:8 ESV Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

9: LOVE UNCONDITIOALLY: No matter how hard it is to love others, especially when they've wronged you, it is very essential to do so. It is the key to a peaceful life and it promotes self love while helping you to grow beyond the levels of any human force.

Ephesians 2:10 ESV

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

10: TRUST GOD IN YOU GIVING: Whatever we do, we do as unto the Lord for He created us to help one another. As we do so with trust, this enables Him to work for us on our behalf. This also gives us ultimate peace.
