DECIDING TO FORGIVE

Updated: Sep 17, 2020

How a simple decision can turn your life around.

Positive Prayer ends and begins with forgiveness.. We forgive, enabling God to forgive us. Matthew 6:14-15 ESV For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Asking if God hears your prayers in times of trouble isn't going to change the outcome of them... true forgiveness will. So ask yourself who are you holding captive in unforgiveness while wailing to the Father of unanswered prayers. In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.  And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (Matthew 6:9-15 NKJV) It is as plain as the text in His Word Beloveds. Is it more important to hold on to something that causes so much hurt and pain, slowing stealing your life away, than letting go; in exchange for freedom and peace? God wants so much for us to live in forgiveness, He sacrificed the life of Jesus to take on the pains of unforgiveness for as long as we live here on earth. We are completely set free in this power that we clearly have a choice to walk in my Sisters of faith. And even the smallest amount of unforgiveness can rob you of your set free existence. Therefore, let us live the whole life that Christ died and rose for. John 10:10 ESV The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. It is the full Passion of the Lord Jesus Christ, that our anguish, joy and peace rest solely in Him. The only one who can take away our burdens, and our sins to live in absolute freedom.
