INSECURITY

Updated: Jan 30, 2022

BEATING THE DIVIDE AND CONQUER OF SELF

What causes insecurity in a woman?

Most of us feel insecure sometimes, but some of us feel insecure most of the time. The kind of childhood we had, past traumas, recent experiences of failure or rejection, loneliness, social anxiety, negative beliefs about ourselves, perfectionism, or having a critical parent or partner can all contribute to insecurity.

The results of an insecure mind, reveals itself in many ways and most common are...

· You Don't Trust Easily.

· You Struggle with Intimacy.

· You Become Panicked Easily.

· You Easily Feel Attacked.

· You Create Mountains Over Molehills.

· You Don't Accept Yourself.

The devil will use any and everything possible in life to keep us from becoming the women God intends, especially the anxieties from insecurities. Having the strength within our own identity that builds powerful and lasting structures that carry on generation to generation is his focus of destruction. This causes us to hate the beautiful creation inside, dividing love and self. Depending on the reason you struggle with insecurity can play a large part in overcoming this but thank God for His miraculous transforming Word that tells us how much our worth truly means to Him and therefore, should mean to us.

Philippians 4:6-9

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Our Savior in all His majesty, came exclusively for us my beautiful sisters, to reveal that we are of His kind, we are His glory and that makes us family. We are royalty and He is worthy of our praise; His honorable, commendable, and excellent praise.

Oh, how beautiful we are sisters, that Jesus made it His mission to convince us by the laying down of His life, how precious our lives are. How the knowledge of his presence in our bodies creates His perfection and peace in our minds. We ought to live in this unfailing beauty with confidence, love, and grace; especially for ourselves. The sacrifice of praise opens a world of health, mind, body, and soul. So, we must begin each day with a spirit of gratitude for who we are as we grow into who we are becoming every day. Each new day brings a new challenge, so, submitting our ways and our thoughts to the creator, creates a new and beautiful you. Weight, height, deformity, and mindset all make up the definition of who we are. They are not pieces to pick apart, it is the wholeness of who we are and the perfect love of God who made us.

Psalm 139:14

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

Dear Sisters, know your worth, know that there is nothing more valuable than the love you have for yourself and the love, that is our Savior, has for you!
